 Panel project started spring 2002. Plan is not to do full scale cockpit and not for any specified plane. Destination is to throw away keyboard and mouse with almost any plane what can be included to Flight Simulator 2002. Also panel have to fit on limited space.
Design started with keyboard switches until got first releases of FSBUS. In this point i threw away keyboard cards what were on proto stages and started to work with FSBUS.
There were few challenges with FSBUS but with Dirk's help these were fixed. Another design, what may stay on final panel, is to use 4x20 size LCD-panels as radio and autopilot displays. This is own design and software. Current status of project. FSBUS with two key boards is working. Also panel design is almost finished. Next phase is to build frame for panel. Later i will include at least LED-interface (warning lights), Analog interface (throttles, Trim, Speedbrake), Stepper motor interface (Autothrottle) and third Key-interface (FMC).
